Job Introduction

The role of the Application Support Analyst is to provide support to the ITSD and wider NNL business for Enterprise and other Business Applications. They will also troubleshoot problems and implement configuration changes in line with the agreed CAB and governance processes.

Main Responsibilities

Support the management of the Enterprise Applications lifecycle, upgrades or configuration changes in line with good industry practice and NNL governance processes.

 

Contribute to the appropriate steering groups for Enterprise Applications.

Prepare submissions to the CAB for changes to Enterprise Applications.

Undertake the appropriate dev, test and QA for changes in Enterprise Applications.

Work with the Apps and Data Architect in defining Applications roadmaps and lifecycle.

Support the creation of Service Transition documents required for Enterprise Applications.

Support the ITSD in supporting end users and troubleshooting problems.

Handle escalations from the ITSD.

 

The Ideal Candidate

 

Demonstrable track record and experience in an application support role.

 

Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise.

 

Self-motivated, proactive and customer focused with excellent organisational skills.

 

Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements.

 

Experienced in supporting a combination of ERP, MDM, Project Management, O365 and SPO.

 

Experience in the provision of IT end-user training.

 

Comfortable in facilitating workshops with IT and business where required.

 

Experience of working with third-party suppliers and partners.
