Job Introduction

As part of NNL’s future we need to be more visible to audiences outside our own organisation. That’s where you will come in. We’re strengthening our communications, creating extra capacity in a team that has previously focused on internal communications.

We’re looking for a creative storyteller and newshound who will work within NNL and alongside our external public affairs agency to identify the rich content we hold. There’s plenty of hiding our light under a bushel right now, we need you to make the connections, build the network, and root out the fabulous stories we know we have.

You’ll also need to find and nurture the channels we need to develop our external relations activity and bring our content to life.

A killer instinct for spotting a story is an absolute necessity and maximising the value of opportunities will be second-nature for you. We need you to create integrated PR and communications plans which reach a variety of audiences and align with our key messages and positioning.

You might have a PR agency background and are looking for a step into an in-house role. Or you may already be working in an in-house team in a fast-paced environment and be ready for your next challenge.

Whatever your background, if you can sniff out a story, de-code the technical stuff and make it relevant to a range of audiences, craft it into something appealing then make it work across a range of channels, you might just have found your next job.
